The Dream Team

Everyone should have a dream, the bigger the better. As an oil painter I remember the early years of my like when I only dreamed of becoming a recognized artist in my hometown. After I graduated from high school and moved to the state of Connecticut I had better access to some of the great art schools and  artists. I took advantage of some of them, the New York Academy of Fine Art in New York City. That is when my dream really grew and I began to see myself as a recognizable artist nationally and internationally. My dream was to cover the earth with original oil paintings. Before I knew it I found myself making contact with followers of my artwork from all over the world. We became one team simply with one goal which was to spread my artwork globally. We called ourselves the Edwin Carl Caulley Art International Team. The dream was realized with original artwork being permanently placed in fourteen countries such as United Kingdom, France, Italy, Romania, Germany, Serbia, Australia, Russia, China, Indonesia, South Africa, Nigeria, Brazil, and the United States. Having a dream is great and having a dream team to help bring it to pass is indispensable.

Congratulations on your artwork going all over the world! What is your inspiration? I can imagine having such talent and gifting as a creator of fine art that's sold around the world, that it could lead to pride. Do you struggle with pride vs humility? I guess that's something we all struggle with at some point in our life. I knew an artist who was an amazing painter just starting out. He had a tremendous impact on my life through his humble faith in God. I haven't seen him in about 44 years. I wonder where his faith has taken him over those years. I still hope to catch up with him someday for at least one more face to face, and a big embrace. If he's as accomplished as you, he might not have time for an old friend. I don't have much of a house. Just live in the country in an old farmhouse in Virginia on 23 acres. Your art is amazing Mr. Caulley. I'll consider buying a work of your art, but I think we don't have a nice enough house in which to display such masterful art. Best wishes sir, and may God lead you daily to reveal more of His glory to you so you can create beauty on canvas for Him. Bob Ramsay
